Great Britain finished seventh in the medal table with 14 gold, 22 silver and 29 bronze medals.

Their final tally of 65 medals was one more than the 64 they won at Tokyo 2020.

Team GB’s Homecoming event will be a celebration of Team GB’s Olympians and an opportunity to mark their incredible achievements and dedication.

The night will feature lots of music from UK artists, surprise moments, as well as interviews and appearances from Olympic legends and the stars of Team GB.

TV presenters Vernon Kay and Emma Willis will host the event.

Emma said: “There’s a fantastic buzz during the Olympics, and Team GB’s Homecoming event will be the perfect way to celebrate and welcome home our phenomenal athletes.

“I have no doubt it’ll be a very fun and special evening.”
