According to a Which? survey, which compared 12 short-haul carriers from the UK, one airline offers more leg space than British Airways (BA).

Based on “seat pitch” – the gap between your seat and the one ahead – leg space was measured.

Coming in at the top spot is Aer Lingus, Ireland’s national airline, with 31 to 32 inches.

In close second is BA, which offers its passengers an average of 29 to 31 inches of legroom.

The worst airline when it comes to leg space is Wizz Air, which only offers 28 inches of legroom.
