A crash involving a lorry and van on the M25 caused travel chaos during rush-hour on Monday morning.

Emergency services have rushed to scene on the stretch of the major UK motorway in Buckinghamshire on July 22.

The vehicles involved in the incident were recovered, but motorists faced 90 minutes of delays for several hours, with seven miles of congestion. 

A post on the National Highways website at the time read: “All lanes are now open on the M25 anti-clockwise between J17 Rickmansworth and J16 M40 following the earlier collision

“Delays of 90 minutes and approximately seven miles of congestion remain on approach, please allow extra time for your journey’s if travelling through the area this morning.”
