Special Olympics GB cyclists set for European Championships
Four Special Olympics Great Britain athletes are once again being given the opportunity to represent their nation by participating in the 2024 UEC European Road Cycling Championships in Belgium.
The four cyclists will travel to the province of Limburg, in Belgium, for the event, which brings together some of the leading cyclist from across Europe. Within this, around 50 Special Olympics athletes from 12 European national programmes will compete on Sunday 15 September.
Lynne Wardle – An Announcement of Appreciation
Lynne Wardle has resigned from her role of Chair of the CP Sport board. Lynne joined the board of CP Sport in 2018, and was appointed as the Chair in October 2019.

DSAuk Athletes Set Off for Paris Paralympics
As the Paris Paralympics approach, excitement builds within the Dwarf Sports Association UK (DSAuk) community. This year, several of our dedicated athletes are in Paris to compete on the world stage, showcasing their hard work, determination, and talent. These incredible athletes, many of whom began their sporting journey with DSAuk, are now representing our community with pride.
They will be competing in Para Swimming, Para Athletics, Para Badminton and Para Powerlifting.
DSAuk is incredibly proud of all the athletes who have made it to these games. They are not just competing for medals, but also representing the dwarfism community on a global platform. Their achievements are a testament to the power of perseverance and the supportive environment that DSAuk strives to create for all its members.
