SHAH ALAM – National track cyclist Muhammad Shah Firdaus Sahrom, Malaysia’s last hope at the 2024 Paris Olympics, successfully advanced to the men’s keirin final at the Saint-Quentin Velodrome earlier today.
His advancement came after Kaiya Ota, who finished third, was handed a second yellow card.
The keirin final will take place at 7.32pm tonight.
Jack Carlin (Great Britain), Matthew Glaetzer (Austria), and Shinji Nakano (Japan) also qualified for the keirin final.
